As the Magi followed the radiant star across the boundless expanse of the East, so too must our hearts be drawn to the light of Christ, leading us to the sacred place where heaven embraced earth, and the eternal Word became flesh.
For the next twelve days as we gather with loved ones to celebrate the joy and hope of the Nativity of Christ, let us turn our hearts also to our Orthodox Christian brothers and sisters in Gaza. For more than fourteen months, they have endured relentless suffering and hardship, yet their unwavering faith remains a powerful testament to the hope found in Christ.
This Christmas, let us be inspired by their faith and respond to their call with our prayers, compassion, action, and treasurer. Together, we can bring light to their darkness and hope to their future.
