Help assist the 1,000 Christians living in Gaza caught in a war zone!
The Holy Orthodox Order of Saint George the Great Martyr was established to assist the Orthodox Christians in the Holy Land and Greater Middle East.
With the extreme loss of life, displacement of families, and destruction of homes and medical facilities resulting from the current war between the State of Israel and Hamas militants in Gaza, this mission has never been so critical or so large.
The Order established a monetary campaign to be able to provide assistance as we are able towards the rebuilding of both Christian Orthodox homes and churches and to help provide general relief aid to the greater Gazan populace. Every dollar is important and provides a lifeline of help!
We have set a preliminary fundraising goal of $1Million. While this is, by far, the largest campaign we have initiated, we recognize that this amount will likely only make a small dent in the relief efforts needed to help our brothers and sisters in the Holy Land.
May Christ our God have mercy on His suffering servants and grant peace to the Holy Land, to which we all belong!
Support a priest in need of major back surgery.
Fr. Benedict Simpson is the Vice Chancellor of the Holy Order of Saint George the Great Martyr and the chaplain of the Monastery of the Glorious Ascension in Resaca, Georgia, USA, where he has spent the last decade ministering to the nuns and the faithful in the community in rural Northwest Georgia. He works a secular job as well to support his wife and children.
He is having major back surgery in November, and he will be unable to work for at least several weeks (he currently estimates six weeks out of work, but it could be longer). During this time, Fr. Benedict will have no income, and yet, he will still have the substantial expenses of caring for his home and family.
The Order has established a campaign with a goal of $15,000 in order to ensure that the Holy Order of Saint George will be able to step in and meet his family’s needs for a few months so that he can focus on recovering from this major surgery and return to his work and ministry in good health.
May God grant Fr. Benedict a safe surgery, a healthy recovery, and many years of health as he faithfully serves the Lord and His Holy Church.

Urgent Financial Assistance Needed for young Orthodox woman in need of a kidney
The Holy Orthodox Order of Saint George the Great Martyr, at the personal request of the Grand Knight, will be raising monetary assistance for Ms. Alexandra King, a 27-year-old Orthodox Christian woman who was recently diagnosed with End-Stage Kidney Disease.
Alexandra is a kind, gentle and outstanding young lady, who not only loves Christ and His Holy Church, but also, attempts to assist those less fortunate than herself. She spends her free-time making food parcels for the homeless and distributing them amongst the poor of New York City. She emulates a grace that is godly and worthy of our attention.
Alexandra and her family are in a desperate search to find a live kidney donor, as her kidney is presently functioning at only 8% capacity. She has a B+ blood type and can only accept kidney donors who have blood types B or O.
Please Note: If you are considering or would like to be a living kidney donor, visit https://cornell.donorscreen.org/register/now to answer a brief, confidential questionnaire, then speak with an experienced transplant coordinator who will answer all your questions.
The Order is seeking to raise at least $20,000 to help offset any medical or financial expenses Alexandra and her family might incur because of this medical condition. Please help the Order meet this immediate need by donating any amount that you can to help us in this worthy cause for a remarkable young lady.
Tax-deductible donations can be made on this website through the Donate button. In your donation, please indicate it is for Alexandra King. All donations for this special emergency fundraiser go 100% directly to that purpose. The Order will retain nothing. This fundraiser will last until May 1st, 2022.
Please keep Alexandra and her family in your prayers!
We thank you for joining with us in our mission, and may the Lord bless you and your families!

I am 8 months pregnant, and my husband does not have a steady job and cannot adequately provide for us as the economy in the region where we live is almost nonexistent.
