Christ is Risen! From Pascha to Pentecost this year, the Holy Orthodox Order of Saint George the Great Martyr has a very special plea.
Glory to God! The Holy Orthodox Order of Saint George the Great Martyr has experienced unprecedented growth over the past nine months. This presents us with many wonderful opportunities to assist our brothers and sisters in Christ who are in great need, especially those in Gaza and throughout the Middle East. We give thanks for these opportunities to give so much assistance!
This also presents us with new challenges to meet. Due to the growth we have experienced and the many opportunities that have arisen to give aid, we find that we are in need of substantial technological and operational upgrades.
Our media and public relations teams have been working tirelessly to grow our online presence and provide the Orthodox communities with edifying and necessary information in accessible formats. Our fundraising and finance teams have been working just as hard to ensure that we are able to meet the needs of our brothers and sisters in Christ.
These departments are in desperate need of equipment, software, and human resources to allow the Order to continue growing and successfully carrying out our mission. Despite our recent growth, our administrative and operations budgets have not increased enough to facilitate these necessary changes for our team members, who have been paying for equipment and software out of their own resources in addition to donating their time, full time, to the work of the Order.
Between Pascha and Pentecost this year, we are seeking to fund the items and software necessary to continue this growth and allow us to assist where we are most needed. Please prayerfully consider contributing.
