In an effort to further advocate for and help sustain the Christian presence in the Holy Land, the Order of Saint George the Great Martyr is honored to announce its agreement to work in collaboration with Friends of Sabeel North America (FOSNA). This partnership marks a meaningful step forward in advancing shared efforts in advocacy, human rights, awareness, and direct support for Christian Palestinian communities throughout the region.
At a time when the historic Christian presence in the land of our Lord’s earthly ministry faces profound challenges, this collaboration reflects a united commitment to ensuring that these ancient communities—whose roots stretch back to the earliest days of the Church—are not only preserved, but strengthened. Through this joint effort, both organizations seek to deepen initiatives that uphold the dignity of every human person, safeguard the living heritage of Christianity in the Holy Land, and provide tangible assistance to families and communities striving to remain in the land of Christ’s birth, crucifixion, and resurrection.
Together, the Order of Saint George and FOSNA will work to amplify awareness on a global scale, encouraging faithful Christians and all people of goodwill to stand in solidarity with those who continue to bear witness to the Gospel in the midst of hardship. This partnership will also foster greater engagement through educational initiatives, advocacy campaigns, and collaborative programs aimed at addressing both immediate needs and long-term sustainability for Christian communities in the region.
Furthermore, the Order is pleased to announce the appointment of Emily Debinie as Special Liaison to FOSNA. In this important role, she will serve as a bridge between both organizations, helping to facilitate cooperation, strengthen communication, and coordinate joint initiatives. Her appointment reflects the Order’s commitment to ensuring that this partnership is not merely symbolic, but active, dynamic, and impactful.
